This page explains what Cruizer collects when you use it, and why.

Last updated October 8, 2026

What we store when you search

The trip you describe, with names, emails, phone numbers and health details removed before it’s saved, plus what we understood from it (length, month, budget, places, vibe) and the cruises we showed you. We use an anonymous cookie so a follow-up like “cheaper” continues your search and we don’t suggest ports you’ve said you’ve visited. We don’t ask for an account.

What we use it for

To find you cruises, to check our matches are good, and to see which trips people want that nobody offers. We may share or sell aggregated insights about cruise demand, for example “searches for adults-only sailings from Toronto in July”. Every figure covers at least 20 searches and never includes anything about an individual.

Booking links

When you click through to a cruise line or travel site, we record the click (which cruise, which site, the price shown) and pass a random click id to that site. If you book, the site tells us a booking happened against that id so we can be paid a commission. We don’t receive your booking or payment details.

Quote requests and price alerts

Only if you ask and tick the consent box: for a quote we send your name, email, optional phone and trip details to one partner travel agency, and may email you once afterwards to ask how it went. For a price alert we store your email to tell you when the price drops. Unsubscribe or ask us to delete your details any time by emailing privacy@cruizer.app.

Service providers

We host on Vercel with a Postgres database, may use an AI model provider to read your request and write the short explanations, and may use an error-reporting service. They process data only to run Cruizer.
